Forms

So now lets take a look at how to make some forms. Now if your a beginner you don't need to really worry about forms for now but have a look anyway.

so to start us of lets go through the most common of forms the login form.

<form method="POST" action="#">
Email <input type="text" /><br />
Password <input type="password" /><br />
<input type="submit" value="sign in"/>
</form>

So lets have a look at the output

Email
Password

There's a bit of code here so lets break this down, The first part is the opening of the form tag where we use the method and action attribute, these are explained in the advanced section so don't worry about them for now. Next we come to the input text field there are many different types of input and here we are using text,password and submit.

The text input type is just a standard text box, the password type is the same as the text type but the text inside it is hidden and lastly the submit type is the button to process the form. The value attribute is to change the buttons name if you don't its default value is "Submit Query".

There some other inputs types that you may want to use
